Practical Information
Below you will find all the essential information to help you plan your trip and enjoy a smooth experience at the conference venue in Paphos.
Venue
The venue hosting the event will be a hotel resort located in Paphos, where participants will be able to stay if they wish. The name of the venue will be announced in early January. Six weeks before the event, a preferential rate will be available via a dedicated platform managed by the Cyprus EU Council Presidency. All registered participants will be notified accordingly.
Details of the venue will be available soon. A detailed floor plan and onsite logistics will be shared closer to the event.
How to Get to Cyprus
By Air
Paphos is served by two international airports:
1. Paphos International Airport (PFO)
2. Larnaca International Airport (LCA): Larnaca Airport is located around a two-hour drive from the venue. Bus transfers between Larnaca Airport and the venue will be organised for participants by the Cyprus EU Council Presidency. Details will be updated on this page soon and all registered participants will be notified.
Weather in March
March in Paphos is mild and pleasant with an average temperature of around 17–22°C during the day and cooler evenings around 12–15°C
Connectivity
- EU mobile roaming rules apply (Roam Like at Home).
- Free Wi-Fi will be available at the conference venue.
Useful Details
- Electric Plugs: In Cyprus, the electric plugs and sockets are the same as those used in the United Kingdom. Please ensure that your devices are compatible with Type G plugs or bring appropriate adapters.
- Driving: Keep in mind that driving in Cyprus is on the left side of the road, similar to the United Kingdom. This might be important for participants planning to rent a car or use local transportation.
Visa Information
Cyprus is an EU Member State.
- EU/EEA/Swiss citizens: ID card or passport required, no visa needed.
- Non-EU participants: Please check visa requirements in advance.
- Invitation letters for visa purposes can be provided upon request during registration.
